12 Days to Celebrate the Arts in Oklahoma This Holiday Season
|It takes a lot of creative intelligence and some artistic license thrown in for good measure
to put together amazing holiday light displays like this one at Bartlesville’s Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve.
We’ve compiled a list of 12 arts-related things you can do all across Oklahoma between now and Christmas Day (December 25). We even through a few extra suggestions in for good measure!
During this special time of year, we encourage you to reflect on what the arts have meant to you over the last 12 months. What memories did you create? What exhibits, songs, poetry, films and performances remain in your heart forever?
While pondering these things, we encourage you to top off your holiday season off by giving yourself a gift, a membership in Oklahomans for the Arts, Inc. We’re running a Christmas lights special between now and December 25, and you can join for just $12.
When you do so, you will be helping build arts programs in local schools, keep the arts front-and-center among elected leaders, and advance the work of hundreds of community arts advocates.
As a member, you’ll receive select updates and information, our special e-newsletter and an Oklahomans for the Arts decal or temporary tattoo.
