Great Turnout for OETA Day at the Capitol

Yesterday, OETA fans celebrated OETA Day at the Oklahoma Capitol. Oklahoma’s public television station had a nice showing from the general public. People came out to see host Dick Pryor as well as BJ Wexler of the popular Movie Club. He was there with his awesome popcorn machine! I saw lots of moms, too, who made the trek with their kids so they could WordGirl.

Congratulations, OETA! We count it a privilege to support you!

Arts Day at the Capitol is May 8. Have you signed up yet? We need organizations to sign up, but we also need individuals! Please make plans to come out and visit with your legislators about the importance of public funding for the arts. It’s been a tough year for the arts at the capitol. We still need you.
